We have not appointed a data protection officer. The legal requirements for a mandatory appointment (Section 38 BDSG, Art. 37 GDPR) do not apply to us.
2. The essentials at a glance
When you visit this website, we process your IP address only to the extent technically necessary to deliver and secure the site.
Analytics, marketing and review services (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, HubSpot tracking, Trustindex) are technically blocked. They only load after you have given consent via the cookie banner.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the „Cookie-Einstellungen" (cookie settings) link in the footer of every page.
3. Hosting and delivery of the website
Webflow (hosting)
This website is hosted by Webflow, Inc., 398 11th Street, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. When you open a page, Webflow processes the data your browser transmits automatically: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and operating system (server log data).
Purpose: provision, stability and security of the website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation. Retention: server log data is stored only as long as required for these purposes. Third country: USA; Webflow is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF).
Cloudflare (security and delivery)
Webflow delivers the website through the network of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare processes your IP address and sets the technically required session cookie „_cfuvid". It protects against automated access and is deleted when you close your browser.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; for the cookie, Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG (strictly necessary). Third country: USA, DPF-certified.
Amazon CloudFront (jQuery)
We load the jQuery script library via the Amazon CloudFront content delivery network (Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg). Your IP address is transmitted to AWS in the process.
Purpose and legal basis: functional delivery of the website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention: we do not store any data here; AWS processes the IP address only for delivery. Third country: transfer to the USA is possible; AWS is DPF-certified.
4. Consent management (consentmanager)
We use the consent tool „consentmanager" by consentmanager AB, Håltegelvägen 1b, 72348 Västerås, Sweden, to obtain, document and technically enforce your consents. The data processed includes your consent decision, IP address, browser information and the time of your decision.
Purpose: proof of given consent (Art. 7(1) GDPR). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR; storing your decision on your device is permitted under Section 25(2) TDDDG. Retention: your decision is stored on your device for up to twelve months, after which we ask again. Change or withdraw: at any time via „Cookie-Einstellungen" in the footer.
5. Analytics and marketing — only with your consent
The following services are technically blocked without your consent: no scripts are loaded and no data is transmitted. They only load once you agree in the cookie banner. The legal basis is then your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG); you can withdraw it at any time via „Cookie-Einstellungen".
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is a container that manages the measurement scripts listed below. It does not set marketing cookies itself, but connects to Google servers when loading and transmits your IP address. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; the parent company is Google LLC, USA (DPF-certified).
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 measures how visitors use our website: pages viewed, time spent, approximate region, device and browser. Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address; it is used only for coarse geolocation and then discarded.
Purpose: improving our services. Retention: Analytics cookies expire after two years at the latest; reporting data is deleted after 14 months at the latest. Third country: transfer to Google LLC in the USA is possible (DPF-certified).
6. Contact, forms and customer management (HubSpot)
Contact form and CRM
When you contact us via our form (for example to request a free office check), we process the data you enter: name, company, e-mail address, phone number and your message. We store this data in our customer management system HubSpot (HubSpot Ireland Limited, 1 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland; data is stored in the EU data centre).
For the technical transfer of form data to HubSpot we use the integration service hubspotonwebflow.com.
Purpose: answering your enquiry and preparing a quote. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation and performance of a contract). Retention: until your enquiry has been fully processed; we retain business correspondence in line with German commercial and tax law (six or ten years). Third country: access by HubSpot, Inc., USA is possible; HubSpot is DPF-certified.
HubSpot visitor tracking
Only with your consent does HubSpot additionally measure your page views and link them to your contact history. Without consent, this tracking is technically blocked. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG. Retention: for as long as the contact relationship exists; withdraw at any time via „Cookie-Einstellungen".
Contact by e-mail or phone
If you contact us by e-mail or phone, we process your details to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; for general enquiries Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The retention periods stated in section 6 apply.
7. Customer reviews (Trustindex)
We use the Trustindex.io widget (Trustindex Kft., Hungary) to display our Google reviews. The widget only loads with your consent; your IP address is then transmitted to Trustindex. Without consent, the review section remains empty.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 25(1) TDDDG. Retention: we do not store any personal data via the widget; it is used solely for display.
8. Videos and external links
Videos on this website are played from our own files stored with our hosting provider. No data is transmitted to video platforms.
Links to external services such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn or Google Maps lead away from our website. The privacy policies of the respective providers apply only once you click such a link.
9. Encryption
This website uses TLS encryption („https"). Data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties in transit.
10. Retention
Unless a more specific period is stated above, we store personal data until the purpose of processing no longer applies, you withdraw consent, or you validly object to processing. Where statutory retention obligations exist, we delete the data after they expire.
11. Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

12. No automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
